This is probably one of the strangest titles I've used, but here's what it's about.
After ladies conference today I went to eat with friends, then came home. My husband has a cracked/broken rib, or a pulled muscle, so he hasn't been feeling well. When I got to the house he was laying down to help relieve the pain, so I decided to rest a little while. That was about 2:45. At 3:03 my phone rang and it was my dear friend, Karen. She asked, "Well, are you wiped out?" I told her I had just laid down, was tired, but didn't feel "wiped out". We talked a few more minutes, then hung up. The next thing I know is when I woke up! When I looked outside it looked overcast to me. I walked through the house looking for my husband and found him in the office. I asked him if it was rainy and he said it was clear skies. I still couldn't figure out what was going on. He asked if I was hungry, and I wasn't, but offered to fix him BREAKFAST. He said that didn't sound good. I was TOTALLY CONFUSED! It really took me awhile to figure out that it was 8:00 PM and I had not been asleep ALL NIGHT. I had just taken a NAP! Oh me! I guess I was more tired than I realized! I don't know when I have taken a NAP and slept like a baby for about FIVE HOURS!
Since I've come to my senses...I've been thinking about it a little bit. I believe my spirit had been so refreshed at Texas Women's Conference 2012, and my body so tired that my mind was relaxed and rested knowing that "God has my life in control". He loves us and believes in us! His plans are BIG for our lives and He loves DIRECTING our steps. I absolutely loved the message Sis. Karen Harding brought to us Saturday morning..."THINK BIG...TEXAS"! I left with renewed strength and excitement for what God has done and what He is going to do!
A little while ago I called my sister, Karla to see if she was home yet. She wasn't quite there, and it dawned on me that I had been asleep the whole time she was traveling! Then, I thought..."there's a great advantage to living just one mile from the camp ground where a lot of our main events take place. :-) Yes, we had another great TWC! Yes, I'm TIRED! And...Yes, I'm glad I live in LUFKIN!

M.A.P. 2012 Was Special for Our Family
Our "kids" came to the M.A.P. Seminar this year. Jonathan and Andrew will meet the board in February and will be getting Ordained in the Ordination Service at Camp Meeting in June. Having them here at M.A.P. was very special for all of us. We are very thankful they are part of the United Pentecostal Church, and are the Pastor's of two wonderful churches in our district. God has been good to Wendell and I, and our sons have honored us with their lives. Thank you Jonathan and Andrew for being the men you are. We are also very, very thankful for our "daughters", Brenda and Mandy! I want them to know we couldn't have had two daughters of our own any more committed to the things of God than they are. Thank you both for your steadfast, faithful, commitment to God, our sons, and your churches. You are both beautiful and we love you so much! Thank you for loving Dad and I like you do.

Texas District Is On the Move
Tonight is a quiet, relaxing night as I sit here in my recliner. This past month has been whirlwind of activity in the Texas District, and it feels good to be home. We have driven hundreds of miles going to Sectional Conferences, and we have stayed in many hotels along the way. God was good to us and kept His protection around us as we traveled, and we are thankful. You know, He loves taking care of His children!
After our M.A.P. Seminar the first weekend in January we started our travels.
First Week
Section 4 - Lufkin - Presbyter Mark Green
Section 2 - Port Arthur - Presbyter Darrell McCoy
Section 3 - Pinehurst - Presbyter Darrell Orange
Section 5 - Gun Barrell City - Presbyter Kevin Prince
The Second Week we didn't have any conferences, so we had planned to have Christmas with our kids, but both of our sons had funerals to take care of at their churches, and we also lost a precious lady, Sis. Rhoads. At the end of that week was TBC Legacy Conference and we enjoyed being in church with the young people of the district.
The Third Week of January we traveled to:
Section 1 - Breckenridge - Presbyter Ken Colegrove
Section 7 - Dallas - Presbyter Gerald McGaha
While in Dallas we had Christmas with Andrew, Mandy and the girls. Do I need to say we had a GREAT time? :-) It's always wonderful being with ouR kids! There was much excitement even though it was already JANUARY and we were just now getting to give our gifts to each other! Maybe waiting awhile to get together made it even more special. Wednesday night we got to be in church with them, and my husband preached a great message. There's just nothing better than being in service with our kids and granddaughters! We love every second!
The next day we traveled to:
Section 6 - Wylie - Presbyter Robert Myre
From Wylie, we went to Beaumont to attend the TBC Live Recording at The Apostolic Church. I am SO glad we got to be there! It was incredible! I was so proud of Texas Bible College students and all of the faculty. God has been good to us in the Texas District and we are very thankful for what is happening in our college.
We stayed for the weekend in Beaumont. On Saturday evening we had Christmas with Jonathan, Brenda and the girls. Again, we had an awesome time opening gifts. It was so funny, because I couldn't remember some of the gifts I had bought back before Christmas, so I had almost as much fun as the girls did. Sunday was the dedication of our sweet baby, Shayla. That is always a beautiful time. After having a meal with the family we came home for a night to repack so we could head out again. (Are y'all tired yet?)
The Last Week of January we only had two conferences.

Section 9 - Splendora - Presbyter Steve Wehrle
I could give you a lot of details about each conference, but let me just say that UNITY was felt in every conference. There was a beautiful spirit of love and friendship, and you could tell that the preacher's and wives were enjoying being together. Bro. Russo asked all of our Presbyter's to preach their conference, and every one of them was great! They gave a clear sound of revival, unity, and strength. Also, the ladies got to be together for a little while at each meeting. I loved getting a lot of hugs and smiles from them. There is something about just being together as minister's wives that makes one happy. We left encouraged, ready to see greater things accomplished in 2012! Thank you ALL for a wonderful time and for accepting us into your "circle of friends" while we were in your area.
I always get a little sad when the last conference rolls around. I can't help it! After a month filled with seeing friends all over our district, I hate to see it come to an end. We have been tired since arriving home, but give us a few days at home and we'll be ready to go again. There's a lot on the calendar so all I can say is...LET'S GO TEXAS DISTRICT and see what greater things God has planned for us this year. I am excited and I know those of you who are part of our wonderful district are also! You can feel it in the air.

Hope Beyond This Life
While sitting here reflecting over the last few days the song comes to me...
There is coming a day,
When no heart aches shall come.
No more clouds in the sky,
No more tears to dim the eye.
All is peace forevermore,
On that happy golden shore.
What a day, glorious day that will be.
There'll be no sorrow there,
No more burdens to bear.
No more sickness, no pain,
No more parting over there.
And forever I will be,
With the One who died for me.
What a day, glorious day that will be.
WE HAVE A HOPE BEYOND THIS LIFE!
In the midst of sorrow...we have joy. The "happenings" around us may take our "happiness" away for a time, but the joy that comes from God, stands strong and unshaken!
In the last few days we have lost another beautiful "warrior of the cross". No, we didn't see her up in front of the crowds, but she was a strong, unwavering woman of God! I never saw Sis. Pam Rhoads without a ready smile and worship coming from her heart. Even in the pain and suffering she went through, her faith remained strong! We will miss her on the 'ole camp ground! I do not understand the ways of God, but I trust Him! One thing I do understand is that my heart is longing more and more for "home" where there is no more pain, sickness or death!
I'm longing for home, for the sun's going down.
I long to go where, sweet rest can be found.
I'm just about through, with this old house of clay.
I'm leaving this world...for glory someday.

Texas Board Meeting Time
My sisters left Saturday morning, and I hit the ground running. I had a lot to accomplish before the board meetings started Monday afternoon. I got it all done and was excited about the board members and their wives arriving in Lufkin! I always enjoy having my friends here in town and take every second I can to be with them. I know some of the wives come and have things they want to do in their rooms, but if I can do anything about it they won't get it done! :) I have convinced a few of them that they need to stay at the office with me so we can visit and "take care of the boards needs" which consists of "keeping food and beverages" available. This time we also helped Donna Myre and Diane Green with Ladies Ministries mail outs. We got it all done and I was happy to help my friends.
On Tuesday we all went to eat in the Texas Bible College cafeteria. Bro. and Sis. McInnis fixed a delicious gumbo and we enjoyed it so much! After eating and speaking to a few people I started walking back to the District Office. As I walked, I had a wonderful feeling about where I was. We have a beautiful camp ground that houses students of TBC, and some hard working employees that love working for the district. It was a beautiful day! The sun was shining, and a slight breeze ruffled the leaves on the trees. I was overwhelmed with thankfulness for all that God has done for the Texas District over the years. I felt safe and loved by God that day as I walked and talked to him. Thankful is a word that means a lot, but how do you really express the overflowing spirit of thankfulness for the things He has done? I was at a loss for words and I still am.
Tuesday afternoon was filled with applicants meeting the board for ministerial license with the United Pentecostal Church. The foyer of the office was FULL! There was excitement in the air. There were also those who were nervous about being there. If they had never gone through the "licensing process" and "meeting the board" they didn't know what to expect. I, along with some of the board members wives got to visit with these great people and hopefully helped them relax a little.
There are things that happen during this time that I will always remember. After a long day and evening of waiting for the board to call the applicants into the board room to be commissioned to "preach the Word", they had prayer. From the moment they started praying you could feel the power of God! After awhile there was tongues and interpretation and a hallowedness swept across the whole office complex. What a great way for the day to end.
I hated to tell everyone goodbye, but I felt much richer because I had the privilege to serve great men and their sweet wives...my friends. I felt fulfilled because I got to sit and talk to "new friends" who have a mission to reach this world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. I felt happy, because we laughed and talked, and had a chance to "get to know each other".
Yes, I was tired in body, but oh so thankful to be "where I'm at" at this time in life!

Touching Base
Hello Friends!
I am "jumping on" my computer to say I haven't fallen off the edge of the world. I am ALIVE and WELL! There has been a lot of excitement this past week. I will write about that later.
I am sitting in the District Office, because board meetings are going on. I have had a whole day full of serving and visitiing with friends. I love this time of year, because we are busy with a lot of meetings and that allows me to be with friends.
I will come back in a few days and write some more, but for now...I need to run. Keep running this race with a "made up mind"! We'll all be gathered home before too long.

Living In the Fast Lane
As you can see, I haven't stopped by for a few days, and the reason for that is I've been "tied up" doing some work in the District Office. Also, we've been traveling to Sectional Conferences. I am happy to report that there is a beautiful spirit of unity in our district. It's so enjoyable getting to visit each section and see friendship abounds.
I was at the office for about 6 hours today and while I was working on a part of the "new system" we are setting up, I felt a feeling of thankfulness wash over my spirit. As I typed hundreds of names of ministers and wives I thought how blessed I am to be a part of such a great group of people. Then, I thought about all of the names of those who make up the TEXAS District, and again realized there are a LOT of preachers who have chosen to be connected to something bigger than the world they live in. You know, we could all go off and possibly exist by ourselves, but we have found the beauty and strength of "being connected" to those of like precious faith. I feel SAFE here!
I'm not going to keep writing tonight, because it's time to go to bed and get some rest, but I trust you all have a wonderful Sunday, and when you enter into the sanctuary of the Lord I pray He will meet you at the door.

Blessed Beyond Measure
Hello Friends! I trust your week has been filled with the blessings God sent your way. My husband and I have been traveling and enjoying seeing ministers and wives of the Texas District, and I'm thankful to say that God has kept us safe.
As we have met with four different Sections this week, I started noticing a spirit of unity that is prevalent in our district. Unity is a powerful force against the enemy that loves to destroy what God has done. When we come together, reaching for the presence of God and supporting each other it feels so good when God comes walking into our midst! In each Section we have been blessed with the love we have felt. I love being part of the Texas District Family!
I've had many thoughts as we traveled this week. Let me share a few of them...
1. I LOVE my FRIENDS!
2. I ENJOY our LIFE!
3. I have CONFIDENCE in our YOUNG preacher's and their wives!
4. I am THANKFUL for the Word of God that is preached when we come together.
5. I am HAPPY my life has been surrounded by those who love TRUTH.
I have other thoughts and will share them with you at a later date, but let me leave you with just one more tonight...
6. I feel SAFE because I have FRIENDS in my life who love me and CARE!

And So It Begins
The time for relaxing has come and GONE! Tomorrow evening begins one of my favorite times of the year. The Ministerial Advancement Program (MAP) starts tomorrow night when ministers and wives come for training. All levels for licensing in the TEXAS District, UPCI will be represented. (Local, General, Ordination) One of the reasons I enjoy it so much is that those who come are hungry to learn all they can about ministry, and improving in whatever way they can. It is a pleasure to be with these men and women who have committed their lives to the calling of God. Another reason I love this time is that I have the privilege of being part of it. I will be teaching some classes, and will enjoy being with the beautiful ladies that will be in them. We also have the opportunity of spending time visiting, and getting to know each other. Please say a prayer for all the teachers and participants that God will walk into our midst and speak to our hearts in a special way.
After MAP ends we will be starting our Sectional Conferences, so we will get to see many of our TEXAS District ministers and wives. I love it when we get to be around all of these wonderful people! These are the conferences where business is conducted that keeps the organizational machinery running well. Also, our Superintendent, Bro. Russo brings a message to all of us, and I always look forward to hearing from him. We will have a great time! God is moving in the TEXAS District and I am thankful! We get reports of revival springing up all over the district, and it's wonderful to hear how God is touching lives, bringing them to know Him. Isn't He a great God to have MERCY on all of us mere humans? His love still AMAZES me!
There's been a lot of WORK going on in the District Office over the last few weeks. It's been "exciting and mind bending" on those who are involved, but when you're moving forward to greater things it involves getting out of our comfort zone. It also takes a lot of work and dedication. Let me say, there are a lot of DEDICATED people who are working for a great cause and we appreciate and love them all.
This "busy day" comes to an end. It has been a good day! God has blessed us with His presence, His peace, and His strength. I trust you have felt His presence today. Maybe it was from a "word of encouragement" spoken by a "friend". Maybe it was a "smile" given from a "stranger". Or, maybe God came to you in a special way through His word as you read and meditated on Him. Whatever means He used to touch you, you were blessed. What more could one ask for? I'm so glad I know HIM!

Isn't He a great God to have MERCY on all of us mere humans? His love still AMAZES me!
There's been a lot of WORK going on in the District Office over the last few weeks. It's been "exciting and mind bending" on those who are involved, but when you're moving forward to greater things it involves getting out of our comfort zone. It also takes a lot of work and dedication. Let me say, there are a lot of DEDICATED people who are working for a great cause and we appreciate and love them all.
This "busy day" comes to an end. It has been a good day! God has blessed us with His presence, His peace, and His strength. I trust you have felt His presence today. Maybe it was from a "word of encouragement" spoken by a "friend". Maybe it was a "smile" given from a "stranger". Or, maybe God came to you in a special way through His word as you read and meditated on Him. Whatever means He used to touch you, you were blessed. What more could one ask for? I'm so glad I know HIM!

The Work of God
It has been a good day! I love it when there's not a lot of things bothering my mind. I'm thankful!
I am in the process of preparing for the Texas District Board Meetings that start Monday. I take care of the snacks for the meeting and enjoy doing it. It's fun serving those who are leading our district.
My mind goes back many years ago when I was a teenager. The Western District Board (California) was meeting at our church in Fresno. Our church was over the food and snacks for the meeting and I was asked to "serve the board" in the "board room". It was such an honor to serve men of God and I couldn't believe I was one of the ones chosen to serve. When I look back over the years, and the respect I had for those men a wave of thankfulness floods my heart that I could serve our leaders way back then! I was just a young teenager, yet was given an opportunity to serve!
I'm amazed at how God prepares us for the future. That wasn't the only training I had in serving preacher's and their wives, but it was one of the highlights of my young life. The thought went through my head, "What if I accidentally spill something on one of them, or drop a plate of food on the floor"? I was so shy and afraid I would do something wrong, but my Mother told me I had to do it, so I did! I believe she was looking down through the years, and was doing her part to train me for whatever God had planned for my life. I'm sure she didn't know my husband was going to be the Texas District Secretary in the future, but she was training me for whatever I could do in the kingdom of God, and she wanted me to be ready.
The years have flown by, and I am no longer the young teenage girl that served another district board so long ago, but I still look forward to serving great men. Men who love the work of God. Men who love the organization they are part of. Men who love those they serve. Men who love the Kingdom of God and wants to see it flourish in these last days.
When the Texas District Board meet in the board room next week I am sure there will be a time of prayer before they begin. Over the past two and a half years there have been times I've been at the office, in the kitchen, and heard the familiar sound of prayer coming from the board room. It wasn't a "quiet" prayer, but heartfelt, deep prayer that ushered in the presence of God! In the middle of my role as "Martha" I felt the awesome power of God and wanted to fall to my knees in prayer.
The men that have been elected by the ministers of the Texas District do not come together to have a fun-filled time, although there will be some laughter, but when they meet they want God to be with them as they make decisions that affect our district. Maybe you could join with me and breathe a prayer for the Lord to be with every decision they make next week. I'm sure they would appreciate it.
As usual, I really wasn't sure what I was going to write about when I sat down at my computer. But, maybe I gave you a tiny glimpse of the "work of God and those who are leading us". From my perspective, we are in good hands in the Texas District and I feel safe!

Travel Continues to Section 8 and 1
This week has been wonderful! I have thoroughly enjoyed traveling to four sections of the Texas District.
We left Thursday and headed out to Copperas Cove for Section 8 Conference. Bro. Knight is the Presbyter and he preached a fantastic message on worship! He was very anointed and delivered the message God gave to him with clarity and power.
We had a wonderful time! The Copperas Cove singers and musicians brought us into God's presence. I love hearing the Copperas Cove group sing, and was not disappointed at all. The church also served a meal of homemade soups and sandwiches, desserts, and all the trimmings. We also got to be with our friends, Donny and Teresa Hendrick. They pastor the church in Copperas Cove and are doing a great job!
Friday night we were back in our "home" section. Section One! The conference was held in Ranger, TX and we felt at home there for sure. Jonathan and Brenda were the pastor there for 7 years, so we feel apart of the Ranger church. We also were in that section for 28 years and were in many rallies and sectional meetings from time to time. Along with Sis. Gunstansen, the pastor's wife, the ladies served a wonderful meal of grilled chicken, baked potatoes, green beans, salads, and desserts. We then headed into the sanctuary to hear Bro. Colegrove, Presbyter of Section One, deliver the message God gave to him. WOW! He was very anointed and flowed with the spirit as he ministered to all of us.
Thank you Bro. Colegrove for "delivering your burden" and for following the leading of the Holy Ghost.

M.A.P. Seminar
I sit in my chair tonight with thankfulness in my heart for a great time at MAP! We had an incredible group of ministers and wives who were hungry to learn more about ministry and what they can do to serve in the Kingdom of God. The presence of the Lord met with us in our sessions as we taught and when we came together in the general sessions. Last night was a wonderful night as Pastor and Sis. Steve Wehrle told their story of the birth of their church in Magnolia. It was so encouraging to hear what God has done in the years they have been there. Bro. Wehrle spoke and encouraged all of us that we can do whatever God has called us to do!
For anyone who might be wanting to see pictures, I didn't take any. Again, I never felt it to be the appropriate thing to do. To me, the time we spend together at MAP is a very sacred time, and I don't want to "intrude" with my camera.
This week starts our travels to all of the Sectional Conferences. I am looking forward to seeing everyone! It's a great time to see what all is happening in the great Texas District! I'm thankful we can come together with the preacher's and their wives in these meetings. What better place to go than to be with those who are running this race? We are all "running with winning on our minds".
Please breathe a prayer for us as we travel. We will be driving a lot of miles over the next few weeks. Have a blessed week!

This Weekend - M.A.P. Seminar
For the last several days I have started getting excited about this weekend, because tomorrow night starts the Ministerial Advancement Program Seminar. M.A.P is when ministers and wives come for training before they meet the Texas District Board for local, general, or ordination license.
Last year was my first time to have the privilege of teaching in this seminar, so now that I know more about it, I have found myself anticipating the arrival of those who will be participating! It's wonderful to "see" eager minds who are wanting to learn about being in the ministry. I pray God will anoint every teacher this week. The lessons that will be taught by the teacher's will affect the "seminar participants" for the rest of their lives....if they "take it to heart".
Last year I didn't take any pictures. I might take a few this year. I haven't decided, yet.
My dear "blog friends"....if you read this post before the seminar comes to an end, (Friday night - Sunday morning) would you please say a prayer for us? It will be appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Minister's and Wives Retreat - Oct. '09
The Texas Minister's and Wives Retreat was in Hillsboro, TX this year and we had an incredible time! Bro. Walker was the speaker and Wendell and I thoroughly enjoyed what he had to speak about. Every preacher and his wife ought to get a set of the CD's and listen to the instruction given. I don't usually tell people what to do, but let me say....I highly recommend....:) Maybe that's more "politically correct". LOL! However you say it...it was awesome!
Not only did we have great teaching and the presence of the Lord was there, but we had a lot of fun being together. There are some awesome people that God has called to serve in the ministry and I'm so happy to call them friends.
The Hillsboro church served a meal after the Friday evening session. It was delicious! We were served like we were all "kings and queens". Then it was "Skit Time"! We had a blast!

We were part of the skit with Trent, and he acted up so much that I couldn't do much of anything for watching him! He really shocked me with his great talents! LOL! Way to go Trent!

Note: It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of Pastor Carlton Watkins. Bro. and Sis. Russo rushed away from the retreat to be with Sis. Watkins and to offer their love and condolences to her. Bro. Watkins was one our Presbyters and we miss him very much! I will always remember the shocking news and the reaction of those he served with in Texas District. We know that God see's all things, and I trust Him to know. It just doesn't feel good to lose a friend and fellow laborer.

CIAD - Church In a Day - Bullard, TX - Oct. '09
We were privileged to go to Bullard, TX to be with our friends, Kenny and Karen Prince as their "Church In A Day" was built. It was an incredible experience! To see the UNITY of so many people building a church in ONE DAY is awesome! There is no way to describe the feeling as the "countdown to lift the walls" is said over the speaker. If you have never been a part of a CIAD project you owe it to yourself to go. You will be amazed that a church could be built in just ONE DAY!

A Sunshine Day
I am tired tonight from a very busy day, but such a fulfilling one. I always look forward to the days when I know people will be coming to Lufkin, no matter what meeting it might be. So, today I had the privilege of being with the Texas District Leadership from every department. They came together for the 2010 Department Planning Session. Whether we want to think about it or not, 2010 is just around the corner, so the leaders have been praying, thinking, and planning for another GREAT year in the Texas District!
The meetings started out with hearing a short, annointed message from Bro. Russo, our Superintendent. He spoke with passion and gave direction to those who are willing to follow. Thank you Bro. Russo for being a great leader! After he finished speaking and had a time of prayer, the committee's went to their assigned rooms to plan.
I was asked to sit in on the Ladies Ministries committee meeting and had a wonderful time. I love listening to minds as they click together in unity forming the new year! Donna Myre is the Ladies President of Texas and she does a fantastic job. Thank you, Donna for your service and for making me feel special today.
After the meeting I went to eat with my husband, then dropped him off at the motorhome and went to Logan's to meet the ladies once again. I wasn't finisthed being with friends, so I had to take advantage of visiting just a little bit longer. If you have followed my blog for very long you have realized I LOVE being with friends when I get a chance. :)
This is just a little update on what happened in my life today. I am thankful I had this opportunity to spend just a little of my time with great people!
Oh...and to top my day off...there was a BEAUTIFUL SUNSET as the day came to a close! Thank you Jesus! I know you love me!

Camp Meeting '09 Update
Oh My! Where do I start? I just have to say that Camp Meeting was INCREDIBLE! There are really no words to describe the power of God that was with us here in Texas!!!! As I wrote before, there was an expectancy in the air before it ever got started on Monday night, but when everyone came together you could feel the hunger in the hearts of everyone. Hungry for more of God! Hungry for revival! Hungry for unity! Hungry to see the promises of God fulfilled in the local church and cities! Hungry for souls! Are you getting my "drift"? HUNGRY for a MOVE OF GOD!!!! Hungry for miracles to happen! Hearts were wide open to receive the preached Word of God and we were definitely fed by those who ministered. I sat in amazement at how the messages were connected in the spirit. I was overwhelmed when God used His Word to once again confirm Truth in my own heart! I wish I could yell loud enough for all of you to hear me when I say....Y---E---S!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS AWESOME!
I know, some people will not understand of what I speak , so if you can't really understand just trust me! I wish everyone in the Texas District could have been at this Camp Meeting. It will definitely be one that will not be forgotten!
Bro. William Davis from Georgia was our "Bible Teacher" and he was definitely in the will of God as he spoke. God refreshed His Word in my own heart as Bro. Davis taught. Thank you, Bro. Davis for obeying God and delivering your heart to us!
Bro. Brian Kinsey from Pensacola, Florida was our "Camp Meeting Evangelist". WOW! He came with a word from God for Texas District and we received it willingly! All I can say is....TEXAS be prepared for the greatest revival we have ever experienced!!!!! I believe it with all of my heart! Bro. Kinsey, thank you for following the unction of the Holy Ghost and for telling us what to expect from God in our lives.
All of the Praise Teams and musicians were "top notch" and sang with all of their hearts, minds, soul, and strength! There was not a day that we had mediocre music. Each one brought with them a power as they ministered in music.
The P.A. was INCREDIBLE! My hat is off to our "sound techs"! THANK YOU! You were all so willing to help in any way you could to make the sound "right" and we appreciate all your work!
The media was great! With the extra screens on the sides of the platform so all could see the words and the platform, it was wonderful!!
I am not trying to make anything sound better than it actually was! Camp Meeting was "beyond words"! The spirit of it flows deep in our hearts and we left refreshed. If you were unable to attend, you can order CD's or DVD's. You will be blessed.
It was great being with our friends and family. Of course, you knew I would say something about that. :) Life isn't worth living if you have to live it without those you love, and who love you! Relationships in life, and in the Kingdom of God are so important to our survival.
I haven't looked at the pictures I took yet, and haven't downloaded them onto my computer, so I will post pictures later. I just wanted to do a quick update on what I've been doing all week. I've been in a "heavenly place".
Monday starts our first Youth Camp of the year! We are starting with Junior High. The camp ground has been busy with people "working like bee's" ever since the last "amen" was said last night! We'll go through this weekend worshipping our Savior, then great things will be happening again on the "ole camp ground"!

TEXAS Camp Meeting
I am home tonight not feeling well, so I'm listening to Life Tabernacle's service via internet, and thought I would sit here and type a little.
This weekend some trailers and motorhomes have been rolling in to "set up" to begin the week of Camp Meeting. I always enjoy watching as people start arriving for whatever is taking place here at TEXAS EVANGELISM CENTER. There's a feeling of expectancy in the air, and I wonder what God is going to do this year when His people come together? I wonder what WE are going to do for GOD when we come together? There's revival happening in TEXAS, and it's wonderful being a part of our GREAT district!
