Dear Blog,

Oh my word!  I cannot believe I have missed so many weeks of writing on you!  I have been very, very busy and by the time I get home and sit down in my "easy chair" my mind is not able to write its thoughts.  Hopefully, after all of the hub-bub of May and June I will be able to collect my thoughts.  I really hope you understand...

Have To Blog Later...(maybe)

I said this morning that I would be back to post later, but "later" is now, so I will need to do it...later...like maybe...tomorrow.  If tomorrow gets here!  Who knows...Jesus might decide to come tonight and if He does I will not be around to blog!  I'll be happy to let someone else blog about the "rapture of the church"! 

So...until I can sit down and blog, or until I meet you on streets of gold...goodnight!  Love you all!

Living In the Fast Lane

As you can see, I haven't stopped by for a few days, and the reason for that is I've been "tied up" doing some work in the District Office. Also, we've been traveling to Sectional Conferences. I am happy to report that there is a beautiful spirit of unity in our district. It's so enjoyable getting to visit each section and see friendship abounds.

I was at the office for about 6 hours today and while I was working on a part of the "new system" we are setting up, I felt a feeling of thankfulness wash over my spirit. As I typed hundreds of names of ministers and wives I thought how blessed I am to be a part of such a great group of people. Then, I thought about all of the names of those who make up the TEXAS District, and again realized there are a LOT of preachers who have chosen to be connected to something bigger than the world they live in. You know, we could all go off and possibly exist by ourselves, but we have found the beauty and strength of "being connected" to those of like precious faith. I feel SAFE here!

I'm not going to keep writing tonight, because it's time to go to bed and get some rest, but I trust you all have a wonderful Sunday, and when you enter into the sanctuary of the Lord I pray He will meet you at the door.

Please Don't Give Up

Again, I'm coming to you to ask you to "not give up" coming to my blog. June has been an extremely busy month, so I haven't had the time to sit and "blog". I am looking forward to sitting down with my computer and filling in the blanks about what's been going on, soon. So...while I'm asking you to "not give up" on ME, let me just add a little encouragement.....

An Open Letter

Dear Blog and Friends,

I promise I haven't forgotten you! I think about you everyday, but just haven't had a chance to sit down and write. I will try my best to get back to blogging about my travels ASAP! Please do not give up on me. :)

Hello Blog and Friends...

Tonight as I sat here checking out a few blogs I decided to stop by and see my "old friend Echoes". There is so much to write about! Our lives have been so busy that I don't even know where to start, so I will just say...please give me a few more weeks to get back on schedule writing. When I return I hope to finish writing about our trip to California, General Conference and all the happenings that have been going on. :) To be perfectly and completely honest with you I am TIRED to the bone, but I know I will get rested and feel good again real soon!

I really don't know if ANYONE takes the time to stop by to read anymore, but IF you do I apologize for my lack of blogging. Please don't give up on me.

I'll Get To It...Sometime

Well, I thought I was going to blog today, but I was wrong. I really want to start working on a post about our trip! I won't make any promises that I will post anything this weekend, because the next several days are FULL. Maybe, just maybe I'll get to work on it a little...I hope I can, but if not...I guess it will have to wait. I really do still love you all! :)

Things Happening

I'm on my way to bed, but stopped by to check any comments left on my blog over the last few days. We've been really busy and I have things to write about, so I will get some rest and hopefully over the next several days I'll be ablet to sit down for a little while and "blog". I miss it!

Once Again...

I hope you're all having a wonderful day. It is definitely HOT here in Lufkin, but I guess that's okay since it's summertime! As you see, I have been busy and haven't stopped long enough to write any posts. I've also been having "computer issues" so it frustrates me until I can get them fixed. Oh how I wish I was a Computer Tech sometimes! I'm suppose to be getting help this evening, so maybe all those problems will be fixed. I sure hope so! I have confidence that my computer tech knows what to do!

There's a lot that has happened since I posted last, so I plan on updating you shortly. So until then...have a great day and I will do the same!

Taking Time to Catch Up

As I said in my last post, "I will return"...well...HERE I AM! Today, I plan on taking a while to "catch up" on what's been happening in our lives since the Texas Women's Conference. There's been a lot going on. Instead of putting all of the "happenings" in one post, I am going to separate them into their own post. So, please be patient with me. I'm way behind! I hate when I get so busy that I don't have time to blog. When I'm that busy, I am then too tired by the time I get home! Oh the "woes" of having "fun"! :)

Blog? What's That?

My title tells it all!  :)  This is how I am feeling as I get ready for bed tonight.  I feel like I have abandoned my "blog"!  It has become a "good friend" as I've written my thoughts and memories on its pages over the past months.  Since I haven't been writing a lot lately, I feel like I need to apologize for not being a "good friend" to my blog. Do ya'll ever feel that way, or am I just "a little on the crazy side"?  LOL!  Well, it's going to have to wait a few more hours for me to tell of the happenings this week, because I'm going to get some rest.  

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  Be sure and check back often.  If I haven't made a post by the time you "visit me" again, then at least it helps my "blog count" go UP!  :)
