This morning was overcast and still COLD, but I started noticing that as the day progressed it started getting lighter, and lighter, and the clouds getting thinner allowing the SUN to SHINE through! It's beautiful right now, and 42 degrees! You know, the SUN is always SHINING even if the clouds are keeping it "subdued". In life we go through times when the "clouds of adversity" keep the brightness of "happiness" from shining in our lives, but down deep in our hearts we KNOW that the warmth of JOY, which comes from Jesus Christ, will once again SHINE into our lives bringing that needed break from the cold, overcast trials we are going through!
Note: A joy I am experiencing today is our little Alayna "JOY" has come to visit with us for a few hours! What a blessing!

Glad to know the sun is still shining. The boys were able to go to school today - but it started 2 hours late. The clouds are still VERY heavy around here and many roads are still closed. We are ready to see some sunshine!

Last weekend, we received over 6 inches of rain. Since we have returned from BOTT, the sun still isn't shining, and it is still kind of rainy.
So glad that the SON can shine on the inside, even when the sun isn't shining outside!
