When the board finished their meetings today we all went to eat at Logan's Roadhouse. While waiting to order, we were visiting and having a good time when in the middle of conversation I looked up and saw a lady approaching the table. I was shocked to see that it was Shirley Buxton!! My husband was looking at her and saying, "Is that you? What are you doing?" She said, "Yes, it's me, and I'm coming to see you!" LOL!

You Never Know
The Texas District Board has been in session since Monday afternoon, and I've been very busy so I haven't had a chance to blog. I have so much to blog about, too! But, I've got to tell you about today.

It was great seeing her and Bro. Buxton!
I'm sure you can read about it all on her blog when she has a chance to write. She will be telling you "why" they were in town, but I wanted to say, "Thank you to the Buxton's for stopping by and seeing us! It was great seeing "old friends from afar"!

what a pleasant surprise!! wish we could see them. Bro. Buxton would come to visit his siblings (2of which were in our church before they passed away) quite often. what an awesome work they're doing in AZ.
God bless
I was really happy to get to meet Sister Buxton!
Sis Elms,
I read your blog daily and was so excited to see a picture of my sweet Aunt & Uncle. Aren't they precious?
I think the last time I saw you was right after your first son was born. I came over with my mom and dad (Brother & Sis Herbert Buxton)
That has been a few years, right?
God is good and so faithful. You and Brother Elms keep up the good work.

What fun it was to surprise you at Logan's Roadhouse. You and Wendell are such precious people, and our memories go back so far. We so enjoyed the few minutes we were able to spend together.
God's love and blessings stay with you always.
